When your paid membership ends, your account returns to Essentials. Features that require Pro Plus, including PDF and JSON exports, are no longer available without an active paid membership.

Emergency contacts, co-managers, message recipients, and Release Confirmers have different roles. Adding someone as a contact does not automatically give them access to your entire plan.

Connections to the service use HTTPS. Sign-in is handled by Clerk, and access to account information and files is subject to authentication and permission checks.

The Emergency Notification System is a Pro Plus feature. You can enable an emergency link on a printable wallet card.

If someone finds the card, they can scan its QR code using their own connected phone. The emergency page allows them to confirm sending a notification to your designated contacts.

Scanning the card alone does not send a notification, and your contacts' phone numbers and email addresses are not shown to the person scanning it.

This system requires setup and an internet connection. It does not automatically detect emergencies and is not a monitored medical-alert or emergency dispatch service.

A Release Confirmer is a trusted person you designate to confirm when certain messages or information may be released.

The role is separate from emergency contacts, co-managers, and ordinary message recipients. Access and release are governed by the settings and conditions you establish.

The Release Confirmer feature is included with Pro Plus.

Be Sure They Know is not a legal document and does not replace a will, power of attorney, or healthcare directive.
